SES Energy have announced the appointment of Michael Ochoa as General Manager, USA, effective 8 September 2026. Michael will lead SES Energy’s U.S. commercial and operational business.

Michael joins SES Energy from Halliburton/Multichem, where he served as Global General Manager, Downstream, leading a global chemicals, digital, equipment and automation business and delivering a step change in organic growth. Before Halliburton, he was Vice President of Business Development at Solugen, a carbon-negative chemical manufacturing start-up, where he built go-to-market strategy across six industrial segments. He has also held senior commercial and strategy roles at Baker Hughes, Nalco Champion, Clariant, Trelleborg Offshore and Greene Tweed, bringing more than 20 years of experience in specialty chemicals and energy services.

Michael’s appointment underscores SES Energy’s continued investment in the region, building on the company’s broader growth strategy since it’s acquisition by Davidson Kempner in November 2025.
